At Voice of Hope, we believe church is so much more than just a service on the weekend. It’s a place where people can connect with others, grow in their faith, and build a strong foundation for their family. We are thrilled that you’ve decided to get to know us.
Mission & Vision
Our Church Started on June 26, 2005 with a goal of serving people that are around us. Our key Bible verse is Luke 4:18 which reads:
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Background & History
Voice of Hope began in 2005 with a vision to see people saved, healed, set free, equipped and empowered. The name alone reflects its core mission: spread the hope of Jesus. Led by Pastor Ivan Trachuk, the young church’s beginnings were modest, with services held in different community buildings around Portland, Oregon. As Voice of Hope continued to grow, the congregation began praying for a permanent location. God responded and in June of 2006, Voice of Hope celebrated the dedication of its permanent facility. Now, more than 500 people call our church home.
The vision God has always had for Voice of Hope is to reach much deeper than local community. In the following years, Voice of Hope began ministries in Africa, China, Russia, Ukraine and India. Countless people throughout the world are hearing the life-transforming truth of God’s Word and we are privileged to be a part of the movement.
